Enjoy the benefits of 1 on 1 coaching towards better communication and harmonious living with your canine companion. Learn how to best train recall, leash walking, down/stay, relaxation on a mat - or tackle those challenging behavior problems such as leash reactivity, barking, & jumping. These sessions are typically in-home but may also be "out and about" depending on your needs and goals.

Feeling too busy to train your dog? Let me do some of the heavy lifting for you. I work one on one with your pup towards your training goals - either in your home or out and about - for a minimum of four sessions. You and I meet a minimum of two times, once at the beginning and once at the end, so that I can transfer the necessary skills. Ideal for mild reactivity, leash walking, puppy socialization, and basic manners.

Come train with other local pups to learn the basics or bring existing basics into more distracting environments! I teach basic manners classes for both adolescent & adult dogs, and puppy classes for the little ones. Puppy classes include playtime! All classes are taught at Your Dog’s Friend in Rockville, and are capped at 8 dogs.
